How to Make Molded WPC Door Skins?

WPC door skin is one of important parts of WPC door skin, in our workshop, we will learn how to make WPC door skins.

WOOD DOOR

First of all, the raw materials including wood powder, PVC, calcium powder and other additives are putted in the machine. Then the raw materials was extruded out to a long WPC door skin. After pressed by high temperature rollers, the door skin’s thickness was adjusted into 2mm. In the final step, the WPC door skin was adjusted to the right size by the cutting machine.

After the WPC door skin was made by machine, then we will learn how to laminate the WPC door skin with PVC film. First step, put the WPC door skin in the sanding machine to make the surface rough. Secondly, the WPC door skin become hot under the heating machine, in that case, the hot door skin was covered by roller with glue, then the door skin was heated up again. Thirdly, Sanding the PVC film to make it rough and more sticky. Lastly, laminating the WPC door skin with PVC film.

The final step is how to produce a molded WPC door skin. Firstly, put a WPC door skin into the high temperature equipment. After heating up, the WPC door skin become hot and soft to mould easily. Secondly, Put the hot WPC door skin into the press machine. After a few minuets, it turns out a molded WPC door skin. Third, make an initial inspection of the molded WPC door skin.
